ArtStudio Drawing Program Information |
| ArtStudio is a simple yet powerful drawing program for all ages. It is a true drawing program with a simple easy to use interface that allows you to draw and rub colors quickly and easily. Most brush changes can be accomplished with a single mouse click. You can create your own palette of colors by mixing them together in the same way that a painter would. You can select a "trace image" to help you draw. Press the space bar to see the trace image, draw on top of it, then release the space bar to see your drawing. This is a great way to quickly sketch an outline when you begin a drawing. The coolest feature is that ArtStudio records your entire drawing so that it can be replayed. You can replay it as your screensaver with the Artwork Screen Saver (included with ArtStudio). You can even e-mail your drawings to someone who can then play them with the free Artwork Player or package them as E-Mail Art. |

Reviewer:
The Drawing Hand Screen Saver is a screen saver that draws works of art on your computer screen. If you appreciate art or like to paint or draw you'll love this screen saver. It can draw Cars (BMW, Viper, Corvette...), Fine Art (Monet, Van Gogh...), People (Einstein, Elvis, Marilyn...), Animals (lion, gorilla, tigers, koala...), Holiday Art (Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July...). You see each drawings from start to finish as if you are looking over the artist's shoulder. Many people have described this screensaver as relaxing, interesting and educational. You have to see this screen saver to appreciate it. Currently, there are over 200 drawings available with new drawings added each month. You can even create your own drawings for the hand to draw.

Sketch Studio Drawing Program
20/Jun/2006
Reviewer:
Sketch Studio is an easy to use drawing program for children. Although there are a number of drawing programs available for children, Sketch Studio is unique in that it contains built-in drawing lessons. The lessons feature two animated characters Sketch and Smudge. The characters work together, sketching and smudging, to draw pictures in steps. At the end of each step the two characters wait, allowing the user to copy what was drawn, before proceeding to the next step. The lessons range from beginner to advanced. The simplest lesson consists of coloring in the outline of a tree frog. This lesson, although simple, demonstrates how to use the powerful smudging technique that is necessary in the more advanced drawings. The goal is to slowly build up the drawing ability and confidence of the user. Every drawing created with Sketch Studio is recorded and can be replayed, by Sketch and Smudge, within Sketch Studio. When a child has completed a drawing he/she can press the Play button and Sketch and Smudge will recreate the drawing stroke for stroke. The drawings can also be replayed with the Sketch and Smudge Screen Saver that is included with Sketch Studio.
